Default Shaft sizes and keyways for #4 and #5

    Good evening Clearout,

Could you please tell me the shaft diameters and whether they have a keyway for the 1440 motors #4 and #5?

I have a Woodfast 24 inch electric 'jigsaw' scroll saw with a flood ruined Crompton Parkinson 1/3 hp motor. I've advertised it as a giveaway but might change my mind if I can get a motor for it! Alternatively, someone else might like it with a motor.

PS I would need it freighted to Brisbane 4068.

    Thanks

    David

The Crompton Parkinson motor has a normal foot and the shaft is 5/8” with a 3/16” key way.
The other motor has a 31/64” So 1/2” I guess just plain no key way.
It has a dummied up foot, was used on a rig at the Uni.
I took some photos but they haven’t all jumped from my phone to my iPad wot suits my pinky’s better for typing.
You’re welcome to either and I’ll be up in Murwillumbah in late January for the opening of their new rail trail. We will possibly get up to Alderly to catch up with my wife’s rellys if that works for you.
