Rare Woodwork Books
Some rare Woodwork Books.
First up is a set of the Woodworker series by Bernard E Jones. I sold a set of these on the forum last year and by chance I have stumbled across another set that needs to find a new home. Quite unlikely as these sets are very hard to come by. I have an identical set which I refer to regularly and believe them to be one of the best books on traditional woodworking. The four volumes cover tools, techniques with multiple volumes dedicated to some fantastic traditional projects with detailed plans. This set would date from the 1920's so they would be a century old. All are in very good condition and this set has the very nice decorative spines. Pickup Ascot $75 for the 4 volumes.
Second is a rare book on Asian and North Australian timbers by Keating and Bolza. This is a large thick hardback book full of detail on timber types and properties that grow in the region. There are lots of colour plates inside also. Pickup Ascot $25
