I was given one of these as a going away gift when I headed off around Australia in 1990, it did two laps of the country behind the seat of my landcruiser and showed me so much more than I would have ever known about. Brilliant book. I still have it and hope to use it again when we retire and if we are allowed to go anywhere by then.

I had plans on using it, but now not so much. People think that because it was first published in 2002 that it's outdated. I don't know how people come up with these conclusions. Even if the roads all changed over night, the information about all the town and places to visit are invaluable.
