Default Solidoodle Ver 2 3D Printer, Cables, PSU, and Stacks of Filament!

Hi all, this is another thing to go to help fund a sander and reclaim some room.

It's a Solidoodle Version 2.0 3D printer that my son absolutely, desperately required, needed, wanted, etc, and then barely used it because it didn't magically produce commercial quality objects in seconds!

It comes with all the cables/ PSU needed, as well as 5 large rolls of (1kg each roll I think) filament in blue, red, black, green and white. Most look like they've never been used.

It powers up fine and you can hear the steppers lock, lights work, fan start, etc, but I haven't tested it any further and frankly don't care to at the price I'm asking so selling it as is!

It uses the usual modular drivers which are about $3-$5 on Ebay if you blow any, which is unlikely as these are a very low load rating, but parts and upgrades are available all over Ebay cheap.

It has the heating plate, and at the time was quite a spec'ed up unit.

The filament rolls alone are worth $150 or so, but it needs to go, ideally I'd like $125 ONO, but make me an offer!

Pickup from Hawthorn or near Mulgrave depending on date/time.

Can I buy some filaments off you? I don't need the printer though. We can work out a price for them tomorrow when I see you.

Woodpixel actually put his hand up for the lot earlier, and is just confirming if he can organise courier details, I don't know why but his post has completely disappeared!

I've seen that several times today now, really weird.

I'd prefer to sell all as one lot, but if WP doesn't go ahead and no-one else wants it, I'm happy to haggle.

    cheers, Ian

Not necessarily, woodpixel still hasn't come back to confirm if he definitely wants it ( I did msg again some hours later yesterday), and justonething only wants the filament but I want to sell the lot as a package as I don't want to be left with a printer on it's own.

So I'd say the lot is still up for grabs!

    1000 Apologies to all.

I posted, asked my son literally one second later, no he said, then removed my message. Lucky to have had 30 seconds transpire and then deleted it. By that time OP had commented!

    Talk about on the ball!

    I'm out.

What a magnificent opportunity for someone to grab a bargain.

    Again, apologies to Aarggh.

I better talk to my son first then! I'll repost when I catch up with him.

    Hi Ian
If you haven't sold the setup, Could I come and have a look? I am sort of thinking I want the filament and I can give the printer to a friend. So its a possible win-win. I'll text you.
