Default Workbench and clamps - Burleigh Waters, Gold Coast

    Hi all.

Getting to the serious end of the sell-off before we head up to Japan.

Up for sale is one of my workbenches, and a whole pile of clamps.

I made the workbench about 17 years ago or so. On an ugliness scale of 1 to 10, it ranks at about 12, but it's as solid as a rock, and will come up nicely with a bit of a cleanup. Size is 1680 x 700 mm, and 890 mm tall. Timber frame, and the bench top is two layers of MDF. The design came from plans in one of the woodworking magazines.

To make it a bit more attractive, I'm including the two bar clamps, the Veritas Wonder Pup, and all of the other clamps shown in the photos. I used the clamps in the container when making my rocking chairs, and I had to apply a bit of pressure, so some are slightly bent, but nothing too bad, and all work fine.

I need to get rid of the workbench, so $50 for the lot and I'll be happy. And no, I won't be selling the clamps separately.

    Cheers

Would it be easy for me to disassemble the frame before transport or is it all glued up?

I'm interested but can't come until after the Brisbane lockdown ends.

Bargain. I like that you put one of the Craftright 'banana' clamps on the top of the tub lot.

The frame base (legs etc.) can't be disassembled as it's glued together, but the top comes off. The frame (legs and rails) measures 1200 x 600 and 830 tall.

After the lockdown would be fine.

If the deal with PFH falls thru I'll put my hand up for second dibs, on behalf of my local school.
