Default 1/2" woodturning gouge (or similar) – doesn't need to be great quality

A friend of mine needs to gouge out a hollow in his Bonsai plants. To do this he needs an ex-canal gouge about 12-18mm in width. The quality doesn't need to be too flash, but he would like it to be sharp as he has no means of sharpening it.

So has anyone got an old banger lying around that the don't really need? Fair price and postage will be paid.
