    Default Wanted 3/8 lefthand acme threaded shaft

    Need about 10 inches of 3/8 acme threaded shaft in left hand thread for restoration of Hyco scrollsaw.
    Will reimburse you for material and freight.
    This stuff is getting hard to find.

    Dunno if this is any help.
    I had lunch with the boys at Civil Eng @ Syd Uni where I used to work.
    They had a test rig using Acme threads so having a project in mind I asked where did you get it?
    Ozzy dug out this cattledog, he said there’s a few other places wot stock it also.

    They're no good, they don't stock acme anymore.
    They can get some in from their " overseas supplier" but minimum charge is $300.
    Can only come up with trapezoidal.
