    Default FOUND Bandsaw

    I am wanting to buy a used bandsaw in the Darwin area. Just thought l`d try for a secondhandy up here in the NT and if nothing is available in the next few weeks l`ll probably have to buy a new one and have it freighted up here (ouch). I`m looking for a 16" or 18", 2hp to 3hp, mid to high quality. Something like a Lugana, Harvey or Hammer would nice but probably to much to ask for, secondhand. If anyone down south has a bandsaw you think might interest me and is willing to strap it to a pallet and have a freight company pick it up, please get in contact. l`m willing to spend somewhere between $1.5k to $2.5 for a Lugana, Harvey, Hammer or something similar in quality.

    Well l had to jump at the last Harvey Ambassador C14 in Australia from GregMach in Brissy (apparently and no more arriving until Xmas and probably at a higher price), to sweeten the deal because of the high freight charges to Darwin, they replaced the bearings guides with the ceramic guides free of charge. l`ve read so many pros and cons in regards to the bearing guides vs the ceramic guides so l hope l`ve done right thing.
