    Default Bandsaw Mitre Slide

Looking to buy a mitre slide for my bandsaw as per specs below. I bought the saw second hand and it didn't have one. I never had a desire to use a guide until I had fixed the drift problem and now I'd like to give it a go.

I've got one you can have a TT, but all your attachments are invalid so I don't know what your specifications are. I can't imagine that you require anything special but best to be sure.

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi Dave, thanks for that.
It looked odd when I initially uploaded the pics.
It's a bit hit and miss with this system, but I think it will work this time.

It's the smaller T track on this bandy.

Hi TT, The mitre guide I have is to fit the standard 3/4" x 3/8" (19mm x 9.5mm) mitre slot so won't fit your saw. I don't think you're going to find it easy to find the appropriate size bar, you might have to make one out of aluminium or a suitable plastic. If you want to to this I'm happy to supply the mitre guide. I've attached a couple of pictures, it's just a standard, basic guide but it will do the job.

    Sounds like a plan David.

Let me know what you want for it and the postage.
PM me your details and I'll transfer the funds over.

PM on the way TT. I don't want anything for it. Postage will be $8.95.

    Cheers,

Unfortunately, I can't test it out until I get the tensioner shaft repaired.
