Box and handles
Hello everyone! I am new here and apologies if I have inadvertently not confirmed to any of the conventions.
I am looking for someone to produce some Japanese style tapered octagonal wooden handles for kitchen knives from some wood that I have collected. I am happy to send you pictures. I have had them made overseas previously and they are wonderful, but I did not get to select my own timber. I now have some really nice pieces in my possession and am hoping to find someone locally to make a few.
linked are some examples. I will supply materials - just need your expertise and equipment.

I am also hoping to find someone who could make me a box like the one linked below to store whetstones. Am more concerned about function that beauty, so am happy with some simple materials and efficient workmanship over spectacular rare wood and meticulous polishing for this job. Radiata pine or some cheaper wood (but preferably not plywood) would be great. The one linked below is unsuitable as it caters for skinny whetstones for a fixed angle sharpening system and my stones are larger. If it’s not prohibitive, I might even ask for a two layer box with a ‘second floor’ insert to enable me to store Mather , heavier stones in the bottom and smaller, skinnier stones on a top shelf. We can chat about design.

Thanks!
