Default Carbatec (or similar) belt and disc sander

Hi all, have been trying to get my hands on this machine but no stock. I have a project on the go that needs it so looking for alternatives. Does anyone have one they’re looking to let go of?

    https://www.carbatec.com.au/sander-belt-and-disc-6-x-9

I’m open to another brand or model or size as long as is of equivalent quality, power and performance.

    thanks
    adam

May be worth ringing up a few of your local total tools branches - they stock carbatec stuff and sometimes have machines lying around. My local had a carbatec disc sander in the last time I was there (not the model you're looking for though)

They are on gumtree regularly, not always that brand though.

or Record Power? Step up in price, and I've no idea how quality compares.

    Hi Adam,

This may not apply to your situation, but may I suggest you also consider a unit with the same 6” belt but a 12” disc rather than the 9”? My experience is that the 12” disc gives much more useable area for a woodworker.

    Regards,

    Brian
