Custom branding iron for our timber pieces
Hi All,
Some years ago there was mention on here of a business supplying custom logo branding irons. We've decided it's time we had one.
Had a good search of the forum and it's either too long ago OR I'm searching for the wrong thing.
Any help to find someone to produce would be greatly appreciated. Keen to support a forum member if I can.
David
PS: Hey Mods, no prefix for "Wanted" or am I completely in the wrong place?

Crowie had one of these done a while ago, he might be your man. Found a thread that might be helpful - Hot Stamp Branding Iron for a logo question please!

I have got three from one of the sellers on Etsy. Can't find any record of which one it was (was a US based seller), but there are plenty and all pretty similar. Took about 2 weeks to receive once we had agreed on a design. I supplied my own artwork.

When you get one done, can you show us all what you got and how much it cost.

I needed a couple of sets of flypress stamping dies made a while back and actually contacted that crowd in Dandenong (among others), but they said they couldn't make it according to the artwork and would need to change the font to a simple Times Roman type and vastly simplify the graphic, effectively destroying the logo and text. I ended up getting them done from a company in the States, was pretty expensive but they did an insanely good job with very crisp detail using EDM.
I was really disappointed I couldn't find a company in OZ at the time who could do what I thought was a fairly simple die set. I'll try getting a logo made for my branding iron from one of the Etsy sellers and report back.
