Default Draw bore pins - Tapered rods - Veritas 1/4 and 3/8

    Hi all,

I'm doing my hand work and loving it.

Selling the big machines and replacing with The Little Stuff.

I'm after a couple of Veritas drawbore pins in 1/4" and 3/8".

They don't need to pristine or signed by Krenov.... anything that has been pre-loved would be great.

Why Veritas? Well, it seems that literally nobody makes these things any more and a good look around AliExpress and various metal working places* doesn't reveal anything too useful for repurposing. Buying would be easier than making!

Two of each would be nice, but one cannot be a choosing beggar

    I'm making a couple of benches and a table-top mini-bench for outside

Off the top of my head Lie Nielsen and Ray Isles make Drawbore Pins too

I got a set of Lie Nielsen ones and they are really cool

If you do not have any luck, you should just get it from Lee Valley

    All the best!

    Found them.
    They are both 1/2inch unfortunately.
One is 14 inches long and the other 7 inches

    Thanks.

I'm thinking I'll make some up with a grinder and drill.

I can tolerate that for a while until veritas starts manufacturing again
