Default Sydney/Illawarra - Help with CNC engraving, Pyrography, Stamping, Stencilling

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could do me a solid and help me out by CNC engraving or burning/stamping/stencilling some words into wood for me?

I'm getting married in April in a fairly rustic themed venue and I said I would organise the table "numbers". The original intention was that instead of table numbers we would do table names and each would be a city name and have a description of the significance of this city in our life. I was thinking I would plane back some scrap fence pailings or posts and then glue some brown printed paper to them, but I'm hoping I can do one better.

The easiest thing would be if somebody could loan me some metal stencils I could use to blowtorch the wood or brand it perhaps.. I'm open to ideas.

This one seemed like a good no-stencil solution: This is a really cheap and easy way to burn a design into wood without actually having a branding iron. Ammoniumclorid… | Wood branding, Branding iron, Wood turning

Firstly congrats on the upcoming wedding!

If no one on the forum nearby has a CNC they could do it on, you could try a local mens shed.

But I'd be putting together all the text and artwork that your after now though to reduce the stuffing around factor if you can get someone on board.

    cheers, Ian
