Good luck finding one of these in Oz.
Although I have seen them at the tool sales put on by groups like TTTG or your local tool collectors club the Hand Tool Preservation Society of WA.

Stuart at the Tool Exchange, occasionally has US made versions - one on site now.

I have recently brought a Ukrainian version, at a show, on a whim, but cannot remember the proprietor.

Just to show a size comparison, my 90mm (3 1/2 bananas) T H Witherby Slick versus normal chisels.

Hello Paul, in my limited time with the Ukie Slick, after sharpening, it will happily clean up lap joints and tenons in "soft" woods and with a bit more care, some hard woods.

It will also bring out the claret, if you are not careful, DAMHIKT!

Hello Paul, yep, the handle is Rock Maple, turned by me. I would hate to think of the postage with a 400mm+ handle, along with the tool.
