    My local Mitre 10 want $47 per l/m for H4 treated roughsawn hardwood lengths for outdoor treads.
    Not cheap.

    Internal vs external will influence the decision. Not a huge range in Adelaide but if you search timber suppliers Adelaide on these forums you will get a few threads with the likely local contenders.

    Bone Timber on South Road, Ottos and even https://www.ezifloor.com.au/ would be worth trying.

    Ezifloor seem to be only flooring and you can't buy off the shelf but they can arrange to get stuff in from various mills if you know what you want.
