Default Incra mitre express aluminium track

I thought I posted something on this, but couldn't find it.
If this is a repeat, my apologies.

I was looking for an Incra Mitre Express but Carbartec and Timbecon are out of stock.
Others sellers were considerably more exxy, especially from O/S.

So, I thought about building something similar if possible.
Does anyone know if there is a similar double mitre slide/mitre track aluminium track available, please.

I have looked but couldn't find anything similar.
I would buy used if reasonable, just have to wait and see.

    Cheers
    Keith

    Mate! You're in luck.

So happens I'm beginning a clear-cut and this happens to be on my list.

I can sell you all the trackware minus the red MDF-bits.. A trivial matter of making your own.

I'll reply tomorrow with a full list of parts. I bought it all of another member new/unused 3 years back... And new/unused it remains! Third owner lucky..

    Default Not what I thought.....

Looks like I have misled you. The stuff I have was bundle-bought as a "job lot" and isn't specifically for the Incra Mitre Express.

It appears to be a bunch of parts bought as a "Build It Jig" (plus extras).

It is missing the big central extrusion.

The components I have listed in my Workshop Assets Sheet* are:

    - Incra Mitre 1000SE table saw mitre
    - 2 x 18" T slot panel connectors
    - 1 x 18" T Track
    - 1 x 18" T Track Plus
    - 2 x Incra build it clamps (1 clamp is missing a bolt, easily replaced)
    - 1 pair build it brackets
    - 2 x adjustable table saw t slot inserts (with eccentric adjusters)
    - 2 x star hold down knobs on t track inserts
    - various Incra hardware spares for their mitres & fences

I'll find a picture of the gear.

I apologise for stuffing you around.

edit - the pictures attached show some examples (off Incras site) of what can be built with this. Note the absence of the large central extrusion. One, I suppose, could simply route their own mitre into the MDF boards....

    Thanks for the message wp.

Yep a bit of a tease, but thanks for responding.
Your correct when you talk about the main M/E double function track.
That's the heart of the system and what I'm after.

Can't find any other suppliers on Aliexpress or Banggood etc.
But I will just keep looking, especially while in lockdown.

    Cheers

    Hi Keith,

You can get the Incra Mitre Express from Amazon for $307. That's pretty close. It says there is a $53.69 shipping fee but if you sign up for a free 1 month trial to Amazon Prime, you'll get it for free. I signed up a few months ago and I'm loving it. Free shipping and Prime TV (among other perks).

    Hi Lyndon

    Thanks for that.
I have had a look at Amazon.
M/E cost $180.00, currency conversion +$122.00, freight +$54.00 when I looked a few days ago (rounded).
I would have bought if the currency conversion was just that, approx +$60.00.

Planning to have another look 13/14th, Amazon are having a "prime" promo.
Not sure what it means, but worth a look.
Plus I will have another look today.

    Cheers

You have to be a Prime member to buy from the Prime Day sale. As I said though, you can get a free month trial. No shipping fee. It will cost you AU $307.57. That's it.
