Yeah from everything I've been looking at the past few days it's definitely the best value with regard to price and jaws included. Free 1"8tpi adapter also

Now if anyone is winding down from pen making let me know

Hmm I checked it today I counted 8. It looked as if 10 would meet the headstock. Oh well if this doesn't work it's cheap to get a 1"10tpi adapter.

So I've managed to change it to the 1"10TPI insert before it has been shipped. Is the pitch different for a 8 and 10 TPI thread or just two less threads?

Its Threads Per Inch so different pitch.

I asked for the correct adapter and the chuck arrived quite quick. Pretty happy with the overall quality of the components and strength to hold work pieces in. Good value overall.

Now just waiting on other pen supplies to arrive so I can start start some turning
