    Default MC1100 tailstock spinning wheel

Mine is now in 2 pieces and have broken through the thread. A quick google isn’t much help.

Anyone got a spare or know where to get one?

McJings have a big range, might find one that needs boring out to correct size.

Worth a try. I dont have the tools to bore one out. This sucks. The newer versions appear to have a metal wheel.....

I’m sure I, or someone closer to you on the forum, or the metalwork forum, would be able to bore one to the correct diameter. McJing is an engineer, it’s quite likely he could do it for you.

Would any of these be suitable?
Do you know what the diameter of your shaft is as there are 2 different diameter holes in these wheels. If they are not the diameter you need you could always put the new wheel in your lathe chuck (assuming you have one) and put the correct size drill in the tailstock, lock a pair of vice grips onto the shaft to turn it and advance the drill in to the wheel to bore it out.

Just ordered one online, turns out Carbatec had one hiding in the cupboard. Only one but hopefully this one is OK! Thanks to all.
