    Default McCulloch chainsaw

I have just been given an old McCulloch chainsaw which I think is a MAC 110 or 600123B. It is only very small with a 10" bar but it doesn't have the pull start and cover as well as the air filter cover as the previous owner had taken them off and then lost them.
I was hoping that someone may have a dead one just taking up space that might have those parts still attached.
Please let me know if this is something that you might have and are willing to part with. I have attached some photos of my unit as well as a photo I got from Ebay that shows what it should look like (except for the dirt).

    Thanks,

The Acecresinternet.com site says the Mac 1010 was series/assembly no. 600016

Being a 1977-83 production you will be lucky to find the parts but you never know someone out there might have one.

I have two non-running Mac 10-10 (54cc) saws Im hoping to one day make one good saw out of. These are really gutsy little saws and they sound fantastic.

Yes this one sounds really healthy when running. I stripped it down to clean everything and look for any problems and when I reassembled it I used a drill and socket to turn it over and it started quite easily.

Just thought I would bump this up in case someone missed it who had something.

Have you tried McCulloch Chainsaw Parts | Green Acres Mowers
They have some parts for old Mac saws.

I wouldn't hold my breath on finding an air cleaner though as they are one of the first parts they run out of.

Back in 2007 I wanted a new air cleaner for a 1992 Stihl 076. I ended up contacting every Stihl authorised dealer in Perth and found two so I bought both of them. Many other parts are unobtainable. The other place to try is ebay.

    also try the Arborist site.

Its primarily a US forum but there some Aussie members.

I ratted through my spares and found a starter cover complete with drive, spring, but no cord or pull toggle for you.

That's fantastic Croccy. Cord and toggle/handle will be no problem as they are fairly generic. Did you happen to have the air filter cover too?

    No only what I listed.
I will get a postage cost tomorrow, as it's an odd shape.
