Default Near New Mid Range Table Saw

    Hi guys,
thought I'd try my luck here before I bite the bullet on a brand new Carbatec Professional Cabinet Saw
    Must be 10amp
    Budget is around 2k
Im constantly keeping an eye out on eBay, Gummy and Facebook.
Gregory has some nice new Harvey's coming through that look great, which is just stretching my budget. Perhaps you're up for upgrading!
If you have anything for sale, or have been thinking of selling let me know.
    Im keen to buy asap.

I have a Delta Unisaw to get rid of.
    Its about 10 years old.
Never been used, still had a US plug on it.
I’ll get some photos and a few specs if you’re interested.
Im in Sydney but shipping is possible.
    Looking for $2k.

Have you seen the new Laguna table saws Carbatec have just brought in? There's a very sweet <10a model!

I did, but only comes in at 1.75hp.
The Carbatec is 2.5hp and $200 cheaper. Id most likely lean towards that.

I've just got the email from Carbatec and went and looked at all the photo's.... i'll be blown over with a feather if that is not OEM'ed from Harvey as it is a near to a pimple clone of a Harvey C200-30, the Harvey having a Hi-Lo fence that i'm loving, the Carbatec having an additional Solid Phenolic Insert. The blade guard, riving knife, table insert, wind handles, dust setup, quick release setup are identical.
The Carbatec has a fence with the miter guage but the guage itself looks the same...

Seems like it is toss a coin time in AU

Yep! I thought the exact same thing.
I also noticed the Carbatec used to come with a hi/low fence version.
Gregory has the c200-30 for $2199. hoping to use this as a bargaining point

BTW - the AU Harvey Ambassadors based on both what i got and the Gregorys website are actually black not the US blue.

In a bit of a laugh the Carbatec manual has components of the ambassador manual but is more comprehensive but also clearly shows the HiLo fence in the manually exactly like the C200-30.

Sorry to hijack your wanted thread .... though it does keep bumping it

Not at all, your input was quite useful!

I've recently purchased a new saw. Thread can be closed
