    Default Red Tulip Oak

    Hi,

I'm after some Red Tulip Oak (Heartwood) 35-40mm boards would be perfect, 2 - 3m Lm.

    Cheers
    Ross

Ross, I have some Rusty Tulip Oak. It is an unnamed Argyrodendron species from KinKin. I've looked up the Red Tulip Oak in Aust Rainforest Woods and the timbers look rather similar. I can post you a sample or email a photo if you like or you are welcome to come and have a look at what I have. It is an unusual wood for sure! Bob

Try Dale & Meyers "Branch 95" - https://www.branch95.com.au/timbers as they have access to rainforest species coming from the Cooktown area. Probably won't be cheap!
