Riving knife for Triton Mk 3
I recently purchased a Triton Mk 3 from one of the online marketplaces and it is missing the riving knife.
I am new to this forum and hopefully will become a regular, I’m an old bloke that has only recently found a passion with woodworking. (I’m lousy at it, but I’m having so much fun)
I’m from Ferntree Gully in Melbourne.
Thanx for listening.

Just remember that every mistake is a learning experience.
(including buying a MK3 without a riving knife! - where did it go?)

You could try secondhand Triton dealer Adamtools on ebay. He isn't showing one at the moment but he may be able to get you one.
It's a mystery to me the number of Tritons sold with major missing parts. Where do they go?
If you can't get one, your other option is to get the guard for the 2000, and modify the guard support - you will need to do some filing and tap a hole for a screw thread. If you give me the width of the slot I will confirm the do-abiity. You can get these parts from Toolsparesonline - parts WCA333 and WCA334.

No, to fit the MK3 you need a special guard support which is no longer avaiable. See part DCA001.

I’d like to thank AlexS for sending me the part, it is working a treat. It’s not very often these days that someone goes out of their way (both time & financially) to help a person in need, his generosity astounded me, and yes Alex, I too shall pay it forward.
