    Default Thicknesser (Used)

I'm looking for a used (working) thicknesser. I don't care about dings/dents/scratches/etc so long as it is functionally complete, works properly and reliably, uses single phase, and spares are easily available. My projects are small, so size is not a "big" issue .

I'm retired and have taken up woodworking in my dotage. I can now cut straight (hooray) and joint but most of my timber is scrap so I continue to have problems getting consistent dimensions.

I'm in Sydney, but can travel. Funds are limited; say $300 or less.

I was just in my local Aldi and saw they had Thicknessers on special for $349 this week and they appear to be the standard design that everyone sells. Don't know if it's the same in your area if you haven't picked up something yet.
