Default Triton Mk3 overhead guard mount / riving knife

    Wanted:

Triton Mk3 New Series Workcentre overhead guard mount / riving knife. Which I believe is part WCA042, the metal part fits into the table slot.

    Like this one:

The one that came with my secondhand Mk3 is a homemade/workshop bodge from old steel bar and really isn't working - the riving knife is out of alignment and is driving me nuts.

Anywhere that had stock online have sold out and the online auction site doesn't have one either and I've checked regularly for months.

So, if anyone has one sitting idle in a drawer somewhere I'd be glad to pay for it and its postage if needed.

    Cheers,
    Vaughan

Thanks Peter, I did look at the TOCACT Classifieds page a month or two ago and actually aquired from TOCACT a 2000 Workcentre riving knife in hopes I could mod it into use on the Mk3. I was sorely mistaken!

If you are unsuccessful here your best bet might be to look at Gumtree ads - they sometimes show Mk3's with two guards. The seller or the buyer might be persuaded to part with one.

Thanks Chris, that's a good idea.
I've seen a few complete cheapies but I loathe on-selling a workcentre missing vital parts only to frustrate the next bloke.
But, yes, one with two guards would make the deal fair for all.
