Thanks for the instructions Mr Brush. I do have them, but you have saved me searching for them!.
I will let you know my findings after I have dismantled the router.
Many thanks,
Alan...

Worn bits
I got the instruments out and did a bit of surgery this afternoon. As expected, the worm drive for fine adjustment was shot, and so was the coarse adjusting mechanism.
Apart from the above worn bits, I discovered a few missing bits - the spline clutch ring (TRA374), spring (TRA379) and hex washer (TRA377) which live in the fine adjustment knob, and the lock knob for the depth stop (TRA346). These missing bits didn't seem to affect the router in use, but probably should be in place for completeness.
If the above bits are available, I would love to obtain them and complete the transplant and get the patient back into working order.
Please PM me with your contact details, and we can make some arrangements.
Many thanks,
Alan...

Hi Alan,
It might be easier for me to remove the heavy bit (motor), and just send you the entire upper router body with all parts still attached. I assume the lower (metal) baseplate of your router is OK, so you don't need that?

I have a router spring. It came out of a MF0001 when I mounted it in my router table. It is currently sitting on a shelf.

OK - so if the OP has a router spring from Bucky, Alan can have my complete router (sans motor) for any/all of the bits he needs.
Alan - I'll try to get it packed up today or tomorrow, then will PM you.

Many thanks to Clive who has kindly passed on the spring from his router. My router is now feeling warm and fuzzy now that it is complete
