    Default Triton Router TRA001

    Hi All,

Looking for a Triton Tra001 plunge router, mine has currently died and before i go down the route of trying to get the spare parts out of the UK, thought i would post, on the off chance that a member was looking to part with theirs and pass one on to a good home!

    Happy to pay transport

I am told by the distributor that they cannot at the moment get any info out of the manufacturer on when they will next be back in stock in Australia,

    Thanks for looking
    Regards
    Brenton

Ive managed to get parts from carbatec; maybe give them a call as they may still have some sitting about in their warehouse

This can be caused either by the nylon winding shaft teeth wearing out, or by the teeth on the turning knob insert (TRA148) wearing out. In the case of the former the nylon shaft was changed to metal a long time ago, and they are available from the UK. in the case of the latter my club has one for sale here:Classifieds – TOCACT

There are very good instructions from RayintheUK on how to disassemble the router.

Many thanks this is brilliant I was able to search and found the rayintheuk instructions not sure which one is the issue but suspect that it might be the plastic gear but armed with these feel confident enough to give it a go and pull this monster apart. Many thanks once again
