Triton Workcentre 2000

I am look Triton Workcentre 2000 to use in my shed. I plan to use this mostly for crosscutting and as a table saw substitute while I save up for a proper table saw. A riving knife attachment and a usable fence are a must for me.

Had a look at a MK3 this morning, hell its rough, paint is stuffed on worktable, would need a major stripping and repaint but comes with router table. No saw or router though. $100 but my 2bobs worth wait a couple of weeks see what else turns up. Yeah I been in your situation, want it and want it now, then regret getting when I did..

there are several buy sell groups on FB in southern area of Adelaide, check out their market pages or even post a wanted to buy,
Before we saw the light Aldinga beach was our favourite haunt with the car on their as well with 3 younguns, friends used to live Redgum...many years ago.

Yeah, I'd give that one a pass even if nothing else turns up! It would be better to come up with a plan B than to buy something that sounds like it needs a lot of work to get it up and running again.

I'm not on facebook - I vever liked schmuckberg or social media. I might have to make an exception to see what turns up though...

Edit:

And after watching a 3 hour long video on the Mk3 I think I could even make something to replicate the functions I want from scratch. That would be my plan B or C but it would make for an interesting project!

did a google search and typed in southern suburbs marketplace.

there was about 4 different ones popped up, you can join them only to buy.sell or swap, none of the blah blah etc. then once bought what you want you can then UNjoin.

It's absolutely brilliant how popular the Triton workcentre's are after all these years!

A true testament to good design, although I didn't really care for the router table too much at the time.
