Watco
Has anyone got a tin of WATCO - Butcher block oil and finish, that they would like to sell. I phoned the distributor and they no longer bring it into the country due to lack of sales.
Regards

From what I can see the Watco is more like a quick drying varnish (or Danish Oil), it has dryers and thinners in it along with a vague reference to Tung Oil, not really the same as mineral oil.

Yes it is a varnish type of finish. Quick drying and satin finish. Excellent for rolling pins, cheese boards etc.. I have a few to make and I just emptied my last tin of the WATCO only to find out that the Australian distributor has decided that they will no longer import it to Australia. They still list it on their website though so I would have thought that it was still available but no.
