Default Woodfast outboard (LH thread) faceplate

    Hi all,

As the title suggests I’m after a Faceplate to suit a Woodfast outboard mount, being a LH thread.

    Cheers

    Matt

Woodfast came with two thread sizes (that I am aware of) so you had better work out what thread you require or you might get one that does not fit.

    30mm x 3.5 and 1" x 10 TPI

Also face plates can come in varying sizes so this should be noted unless you're not fussy aboutwhat if anything is available.

If you don't do any good I have a 1" x 10 LH tap. I have the RH one as well. I would have to find them though. May take a while.
I've made handwheels for the outboard spindle thread which worked ok.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

Thank you for the replies. It’s a 30 x 3.5 and faceplate size isn’t important

I knew I had three Woodfast 200mm cast iron face plates 30 x 3.5 but unfortunately two are right hand thread and only one has the left thread you require. If I had the spare as a left hander I would have sold it to you. If you need a right handed 200mm let me know. Sorry.

As an aside, I am after a hand wheel 30 x 3.5 left hand thread if anybody looking at this thread has one of those for sale or knows where I can get one please let me know.

If you didn't have any luck finding the face plate, try here.

I just got a hand wheel brake with the 30mmx3.5 LH thread from them and they have face plates. Price with postage was great too. Contact them and ask if they have LH thread as I see RH thread listed.
