    That is true. You know something is expensive when the Lie Nielsen Australia equivalent (Knew Concepts fret saw) looks positively affordable in comparison, which may end up being the route I go - I can't imagine there are too many people with Blue Spruce fret/coping saws and even fewer selling them.

    The Knew Concepts coping saw is a very good coping saw. I think you would be happy with one.

    I've got one Alkahestic. I overdid the mechanism when tightening it up and a few ball bearings got lost in the process, as a result I didn't get back to fixing it and haven't used it. Let me know if you'd like to see some photos and we can discuss further.
