Dovetail saw
This is the first dovetail saw I ever made. I do not feel that I can sell it, and would like it to go to a deserving new home - someone starting out in dovetailing, and not someone just wanting to add to a collection of saws.
It is for pickup only. Sorry to those outside WA.
The plate is about 10" long, with 15 tpi (as I recall). The handle is Jarrah.
It cuts well ...
There is a consolation prize for the second replier, a mortice gauge and a sliding bevel. Again only pickup ...

Hello Derek,
i know that you said that this is pick up only but I would be very pleased to accept this if you are willing. I do have a collection of hand tools but I aim to only have what I can use. I live in Bendigo and of course would be happy To pay for any postage and handling.
Regards
Tony

Sorry Tony. I would like the saw to go to someone local starting down the dovetailing trail.

No worries. I hope the new owner puts it to good use and enjoys the experience.

I'm surprised that no one has taken up Derek's generous offer. Lovely vintage tools, especially the homemade saw.
Suspect that not as many forumites check the Swap/Free section of the marketplace as often compared to Tools&Machinery? I for one don't always remember to browse through this section (much to my regret).
Cheers,
Andy

Hi Andy
It is amazing. I really thought that there would be requests within minutes. This is a very good dovetail saw. It cuts sweetly.
After some deliberation, I am withdrawing the offer to give it away, and will find another way to find a new owner for it.
