Electric Motor
FREE – ELECTRIC MOTOR
CMG 3 phase induction motor 415v - now wired in Delta ready for running VFD from 240v AC power, or can change back to original 415v 3 phase star. Came from Woodfast lathe as I now have a larger motor. Have run it off 3 phase , and also off 240v VFD in forward and reverse to check wiring - runs well.
Sorry for blurry photo. Details are:
1370 RPM, 4 pole, 19mm shaft. 50HZ, 1.6A, 0.55Kw (3/4HP).
Pick up from Caringbah (Sydney south) or Nowra area.

Sorry, that's all my fault . Should have got off my butt and put it up weeks ago.
Sure you don't need a spare?
Cheers, Gary

No, thanks for offering it for free to forum members though. I should have asked in the wanted section but I thought no-one is going to have a spare one of those sitting around.

I don't suppose you head north of city at all? Have a BIL in Westleigh area that could hold it for me until i head down and visit. And suggestions on VFD to use? I have one on DC I picked up recently but not sure if it wold do same job

I only go north of the harbour about once a year. Your BIL is welcome to collect it from here in the deep south unless someone more local jumps in first. I am using a VFD from Conon Motors in Victoria, but there are several a lot cheaper. I paid the extra to get a VFD/Motor package from a local supplier for ease of mind if I got stuck.

I considered asking if you would bundle it up in cardboard and getting it freighted up here as I could use it for a project. When I went to check the freight, e-go no longer do individual pickups. Hohum.

And Australia Post cost of around $50 to Townsville (because of weight) is not an option. So it's still available.
