Have my dads old 60s era - Bakelite handle all metal body circular saw - free to any one that collects or will use such things. Has had the old (rubber) lead replaced -so probably won't kill you -has never been tested. would prefer collector of such things.

Also planer /thicknesser 10" - Gears for the thicknesser drive are shot and replacements are NOT available. Still a useful planer will help those with a bench-top thicknesser.

Old 70s? era sheet metal unit. Can still thickness if pushed through by hand. Is what it is -$50 or I might use it for a rough copy shaper ,1hp 3blade head 10"cut might be of use mounted sideways without the tables?

Need to make things be usefull or be out of the way.

By the way anyone have an old drill press with the ?? part that has the bearings for the drill shaft - with the gear rack milled into it -tubular thing -the bit that goes up and down with the drill chuck on the end of it.

Have a quite reasonable 70s? Taiwanese 1HP 16 speed unit - floor standing with broken teeth on this part - so goes around quite merrily -but limited up down thing. Kinda useful for a drill press.

Thought I had a good buy from the auction - well really didn't do to bad if you price up the drill chuck - would cost me more than I paid for new -probably about double -and it fits my wood lathe - handy and then there's a good 1 hp motor + cast iron table , base shaft etc.

But if can get going as intended would be wonderful.

Could then stop using my Chinese 1/3 hp bench top unit -that had its 1/3 hp motor replaced with a 1/3 hp motor from an old 1960s? era Aussie washing machine. It seemed to DOUBLE the power output. Not stating that the Chinese LIE about their products (possibly have tiny little puny horses) BUT......
