Peppercorn - large branches and burls
Hi all,
We have a massive peppercorn tree with huge burls. Last night, half the tree broke off at a burl and is sitting in our yard. Easily 40-50cm+ diameter and even wider at burls.
Before I get it cut up and hauled away, anyone is welcome to take what they want.
Very easy access - you could get a truck right up to it.
Located Hughesdale.

Cheers

That was quite a valiant effort of the bin to try and cushion the fall!

Yeah - aside from a smashed fence and shed, we were lucky no one got hurt! A couple of months later, it would have smashed a new garage too. Good timing!

Peppercorn is generally quite plain, but the burls are worth having a go at. Plus I have cut a few butt pieces which had amazing spalting similar to blackheart Sassafras, but all colors of the rainbow.
