    Default Want to swap a saw

    I have an 18" Disston mitre box saw pictured below. I want to swap it for a 14 or 16 inch Disston backsaw of similar vintage. The saw is missing a nut and bolt, and as they predate the glover patent, I don't have any replacements. I could include a glover patent but and bolt if you want, though.

    blade 305 long and 75 from spline for both
    the slack sellers has a slight bend in the tooth line along its length, can be fixed but haven't got around to it, the disston is straight.
    Both are sharp. Handles were finished with about 4 coats of danish oil, 12 tpi
