An extract from a recipient of one of the Christmas pens. Just makes this all worth while

    Good afternoon Mr Sanders,

Thank you so much for the amazing pens supplied by you and your incredibly talented team who created the elaborate designs. You have many talented and skilled workers there and my admiration goes out to all of them for their ability to craft these items (I was always pretty dreadful at woodwork.......or anything mildly creative for that matter).
Being in the logistics side of defence, a pen is on par with a brick of gold for value and desirability so it is definitely appreciated. The brilliantly unique designs also mean that no one can pinch our pens so you may have just bought me a fair amount of time before I need a new one.
Unfortunately, due to the filters placed on some websites whilst deployed, I was unable to view your website or your Facebook page. Be assured that, as soon as I am able, I will visit both to see the extent of your work and the other items that are being produced to such a high quality. Hopefully I will be able to support you and be a part of Woodwork Forums when I return from deployment.
Once again, I thank you all for your support and encouragement. Everyone I work with is very appreciative of the obvious amount of time and effort that was placed into creating these gifts for us.
    Wishing you all the best,

    Kind Regards,

    Name With Held

Another letter of thanks, names with held but from a boss over there. I have the photos but not sure if this is the right place to show them will check
    Dear Bruce,
As the proud recipient of one of the pens you sent, I would like to pass on my sincere thanks, and compliments for some wonderful work. The men and women of the Pen Turning section of Woodwork Forums Australia have clearly been busy making them, and their hard work is very much appreciated. I happened to receive a very nice wooden fountain pen, that writes beautifully, and is truly a pleasure to hold. It is always a joy for us to receive something from home, even more so when it is so generous and unexpected.
I would have liked to have written to you using the pen itself, but mail here is not especially regular, and email does allow me to attach a few photographs that are indicative of what we do. Nevertheless, I will continue to treasure the pen, whether writing something important or mundane!
All the best, and once again, thank you,
