Hi Amos
did manage to get all pens made yesterday (left the shed at 10.30 pm!!) however did not manage to get them into the mail I was caterer (after school finsihed) for the P&C school canteen volunteers christmas dinner and have just got home - 11 pm. They are wrapped and ready - tomorrow morning they WILL go!

I need advice please. I use varnish on my finished pens. Now I find out it chips if used rough. Can anyone tell me a more practical finish please. Currently working on more for our troops and would like them to be a little bit soldier proof. ( yes I know impossible)

CA finish is fairly robust, but any finish will take a beating if the pen is dropped etc. Amos

If I hear anything about the pens will let you know. I take it you are sending them to a generic address, rather than a specific person...? The only reason I ask is the last group have rotated out and if you are sending them to a specific person they have probably rotated out the packages will be redirected back to you.
