More for the troops
I have permission to acknowledge both David from Timberbits for the kits, and George from Georges bits of timbers ( aka nyodine on ebay ) for the donation of the parts needed for these pens. Thank you both.

Facebook page
Ever thought of making a Facebook page for all these pens?
Like the below link that sends quilts over to our troops.

I not only have just found this thread, but the forum as well.
I am an ex serviceman, R.A.F. aircraft electrician and never had to serve in anywhere more dangerous than Singapore in the late 60s. The only danger there was the Tiger beer!
I have been totally knocked over by the thought of the donation of anything for the veterans of anywhere and think that this is wonderful! I couldn't even imagine anything like this happening in the U.K. Probably because it might upset one of the minorities there?
All that I can say is a very big well done and I wish that I could start something similar ???

Jonzjob, no reason you could not start something, you are not taking sides, but rather remembering an honourable service by those that went, Amos

Welcome to the forum Jonzjob and great to see you in this thread, as Amos said why not start up a similar thing in France or the UK. I am sure the troops would be thrilled. I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with an Aussie who spent a long time in the French Foreign legion the other day. He was fascinating to talk with.

Long time between drinks here, but how hard is it to make those acrylic pens with a design in them?
