    Default Purchasing wood

Hi all Im making coasters that are 4x4x1/4 out of birch plywood, but as I progress through my project i find myself in need of better more sturdy wood. Can someone help me with places to find what i need. Not worried about other dimensions of course, just the 1/4 inch thickness.

Cedar closet lining is usually 1/4" or 3/8" thick. Available at Lowes and Home Depot. It's less than 4" wide, usually closer to 3" T&G. With about 6" to work with, you could put the joint anywhere for visual effect.

    Cheers,
    Joe
