Default 140 year old Tassie ketch - Tassie - Franklin - wreck

Franklin, Tasmania, the pub (there is only one).

Tassie built 140 year old ketch, used to go to the tassie wooden boat festival.
Sunk in the river when the deck was off after the solar panels for the bilge pump were stolen, then dragged out with a 'dozer.... broke up on removal from the river.

Now a pile of firewood in the back yard of the pub, and on the verandah (part of the wood pile for the pub fire).

Big pieces of boat timber, huon mast... seems a shame to have it all burnt.

The wooden boat school would know about it... what a shame.
    Cheers,
    Clinton

That would be the Belle Brandon.
Was raised once and sank again, it didn't survive the second attempt to raise it.
