    Default Wanted: Payne Mortlock Sailing Canoe

    Wanted - to restore/rebuild and or set of plans for same. SE Qld.
    I first saw these boats in the late 1950's and believe they were still an active class in SA up until a few years ago.

    Build-a-Boat plans NSW
    Their 1997 cattledog listed the P/M Sailing Canoe - item# 636
    At the time they were $95 a set.
    The back page of that catalogue states that they hold the rights to all plans in it.

    disclaimer.
    Build a Boat are in the white pages with the same phone number as in 1997
    but at a different address. I don't know if it's the same outfit, or still hold the
    rights, or are even a reputable business. The name has been around 40 years
    or more, so probably well worth asking.

    If you do, let us know how you go. Saw some at Seacliff Sailing Club a few years ago.
    Nice looking boats.

    had a note back off-list from rcb1945
    The Payne Mortlock Canoe plans came through.
    At this time, Build-a-Boat are in the same hands, and is still both an
    approachable & reputable business.
