Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what I plan to do for a Breezair install on my shed? Its a second hand EXH-170.

The Installation Instructions are vague and seem to be aimed at the US market

I won't be doing it, but I am hoping to assist with a install so that I will be happy with the result. ( a bit OCD, I know....lol ).....I want to be ahead of the game.
I am thinking of making a 'H frame' that the installer can use.

I wil be running the water and power to it though, I think.

Will be using a 4 way Plenum I found on Gumtree.

Shed is new, insulated and has a steel stud frame. Roof uses steel tophat purlins.
I'm thinking the unit needs to be mounted roughly central of the trusses except for the weight? Think it might be problematic to be against a Truss?...dunno.( too close to a light )

I have some 45 x 70 dressed pine. Will cut the ends of the long pieces to butt up against the side of the Tophat and use 8 Ali brackets and wood teks to secure to tophat.

Planning on Dado-ing (? lol) the short sections into the long sections a few mm to locate and at an angle to match the roof pitch ( 12° ) so the 550 x 550 Dropper sits flat against all the pine sections and is vertical.

Bench Test:

Do you think the Pine frame will be strong enough to support the Aircon and not distort the tophats?

Do I get the frame fitted to the roof framing first, and then drill pilot holes in the corners, from inside the shed, so the roof can be cut out from the topside?

Do the roof sheets need to be cut back fromt he edge of the frame bt 10-20mm?

I will buy new steel flashing and 1200mm long dropper.
