    Wow! That's quite a workshop.

Many reasons, Chris. Fori are woodworking clubs, and YouTube is the new forum. For some it is "Look at me", others sharing what they have, and yet others hoping to make a buck. Apparently, some do very well at the latter.

I am curious how the Southern gentleman came across the Aussie workshop (above)? It does not appear as if the Aussie woodworker has done any woodwork, other than built his workshop over the past 2 1/2 years, although his workbench is very nicely constructed. All his machines are new and have hardly been used, if at all.

I must admit that I prefer a clean and tidy workshop but one which looks lived in.

    Regards from Perth

If I had that kind of budget I'd probably diversify rather than keep upgrading the same stuff. A better bandsaw is nice but there's really no end to what you can make if you add a metalworking section for example.
And/or 3D printing, CnC, a spraying booth etc etc

Funny what happens when you watch the whole video (Fleets wood shop). Turns out the guy might be "general contractor" of sorts. He had a lot of construction type stuff (ladders, leads, barrows, etc) tucked away in there as well. Best to get the whole story before I make my mind up!

Yeah it looks like he made his money elsewhere (probably loosely related to woodworking), and then spent it on what he likes.

Good on him too, most guys would just buy more cars.
