The dog actually enjoyed the snow for about 10 minutes, then you could tell it had really cold paws and wanted to get back inside near the heater pronto!.
Strange if you didn't get any at Port Huon, as it snowed down to sea level in some areas.
My dam froze over and then snow settled on the ice, never seen that in the 29 odd years I've been here. see pic

Even the poor sheep were not impressed.

Personally i`m looking forward to all or some snow. As a young tyke we moved from Oz to the UK where the old man was stationed with the Brit army. Our house in Feltham had a big concrete slab outside the back door on which elder sis & i roller skated on during winters.Great memories.Doubt if i`ll be doing the same down Tassie but a sled seems a kinda fun thing to toy with. The 'looksee/buy' thing i was hoping to have done by now will take just a little longer but isn`t that far off. cheers

There was some snow in my backyard (according to the neighbour) but by the time I got out of bed, it had melted
Lot's of snow on the nearby hills and I had to cut short my daily walk as the road I take climbs about 100metres where there was snow.
Here's hoping it's another 30 years before it happens again.
