Hi Guys
Looking for any recommendations for floor finish inside the shed.
Ideally a cut polished finish would be preferred, although I like the idea of a white/light grey floor for light reflection.
There seems to be so many options for sealers/epoxy/polyurethane paint ect. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any finishes they have had a good experience with?
Cheers

For those interested I have decided to change the flashing method on the windows.
A weather board will sit up in the sill and the flashing will drop out the bottom of this board, the pic probably explains it better.

I had a textured Expoy flooring done on my shed, i outsourced that job, it was ground down, expoy, flakes and two coats of clear.
The only problem is that its hard to stop slag melting the expoy when welding, i normally through down 4 sheets of 3mm MDF

Does grinding swarf get stuck in it? That would probably put me off. I could deal with the welding spatter as I don't do much anyway. I have the car port area which will still be concrete (I know inert gas welding outside is a pain though). Tig would be ok on the epoxy as it doesn't throw spatter like mig.

I tend to grind outside on the concrete, and not in the shed, so i don't know about swarf
TIG would be fine, as you pointed out, not as much splatter, i find the splatter hits the MDF it rolls like a bead of water, so a piece of 42x19 around the MDF protecter sheets would stop it going on the floor.
I wouldn't like to weld outside if using gas, i don't weld a lot and its a shed floor, its meant to get damaged

Thanks heaps for sharing your experience bryn, although i'm not entirely convinced on epoxy after hearing it .
I will get a few quotes for concrete polishing and go from there.

Not good. This wicks moisture behind the boards. Even with a polythene skirt as used with ac sheeting, the back of your boards get wet and being internal, drying will be slow and rot becomes an issue. If you are concerned about seeing the edge of the flashing below the window keep in mind the turn down can be as short as you can make it, just so long as there is enough to form a drip edge.

Hi rusty, I wasn’t concerned about seeing the flashing I just thought this would allow me to place the weatherboard up into the groove. But what your saying does make sense, guess I will go back to the previous setup.
Thanks again.

Progress - bobcat has removed old slab and cut/filled to levels. Slab should be poured by the end of the week. Frames arriving next week as well. Should see plenty of progress from now on.

Big effort today, we got all the walls up and within 4mm of square on first check. Had a few issues with the level of the slab so some grinding was needed.
Time for a beer I think.
