The last pics I posted is where the shed is now. So effectively the shed needs 1 maybe 2 days to go and the shed is finished. The shed builders left it start a new shed some 130k’s away because 1 of the window flashing was missing.
So I rang the builder asking what the go was and when he informed me or why he had started another job. The upshot of all this is by mid January the shed will be hopefully finished. Frustration is an understatement but little I can do.
What does come of these delays is the chance for me to go over areas where screws nuts and bolts are missing or need to be finished off.

I have along with many other tasks to line some of the walls and ceiling. At the moment the most viable option is to use 15mm T&G costing around $40a sheet. Anyone else found something else i should look at?
Am i being to picky, on the front of the shed there are maybe 8-9 locations where the coating has very clearly been scratched off during the install clearly showing bright silver under the dark grey surface coating. The scratches range from 2mm square up to roughly 5mm square. I know the coating offers mechanical protection unlike galvanised corrugated which offers catholic protection. Should I ask them to replace the marked up sheets before they are finished the shed build. Not to mention it doesn’t look real flash.

Hi Steven. I think that replacing the sheets might stretch the friendship but touching up with paint would be reasonable

I clad my shed in 15mm ply last month. Was a bit spendy but I wanted to be able to screw to it without worrying about strength. Directly fixed to the purlins with foil board as insulation behind that, sealed as well as possible

I know i posted the original thread some time ago. Once the builder came and saw the shed at the almost complete stage he realised my issues about scratches etc and z-purlin spacing were no where near up to speck he realised the shed was pretty bad and replaced the front sheets and re-did the mezz flooring with the correct number of beams.
Anyway I’m at the stage where an electrician has been hard at work putting in 3 external lights 16 off 1.2m long leds and 2 250mm down lights. Wall mounted 3 3Phase and 1 3Phase ceiling mounted outlets plus 2 x15Amp wall mounts and maybe 8 double 10Amp outlets. I put 32 sheets of T&G chipboard on the walls which I’m still doing and slow is an understatement and really the quality of the work I’m doing is pretty average i would say.
I think i have maybe 2-3 weeks work to do on the walls including filling screws and painting before I’m finished.
Then i think i have heaps of work making some benches along the walls….well partially along the walls. machines i have a mix of single and 3 phase and have no idea where they are all going st the moment. Anyway just a bit of an update.
