They work with white 150 mm pressure pipe and may also be available in white for telecommunication wiring if the orange colour puts you off.
As an ex sparky, I would guess that they are near on impossible to purchase and the price would be prohibitive. To be honest I have never seen an off the shelf 150mm bend. When I was on the tools, any large conduit bend was typically custom made for the job.

These are readily available. My supplier in WA has the 635 mm radius (~4R) for $73 and the 1200 mm radius (8R) for $66 , cheaper than 6 x 15º bends.

One major headache with these big radii of curvature in a small shed is the sheer amount and inconvenience of the space they take up.
eg running across a low celling and then down a wall, or under floor connections which requires digging out deep trenches or suffer part of the arc above the ground which is why the ducting is being put below the ground in the first place.

In some situations I recommend use a Y and a 45 to make a 90º bend and then cap the straight through part of the Y. It doesn't add much to the cost and it provides excellent potential for future expansion.
As far as I know there are no large radius Y's.

I managed a few more days in the shed this week which enable me to finish phase one of my dust collection duct work. I say phase one, because there is several areas that need improvement but require other stuff to be completed first.

I also have completed the first phase of connecting up all of the machines bar the jointer and planer. The latter will be another hour of work to complete next week. The bandsaw aside, I just have 6" to 4" adaptors for now, so the clearvue is merely acting as a powerful chip collector at the moment. The bandsaw has a 5" port, so I have connected that up to a 6" to 5" reducer also. Even though the bandsaw is not in its final configuration the difference with the CV1800 is pretty impressive. Aside from a few chips on the table, there is no dust to be seen (not saying its not there though!). When I turned the cyclone on I noticed that it sucked up a whole bunch of dust from the previous work I had done, and this is after being cleaned with a normal shop vacuum cleaner.

Phase 2 will come after I have made the cabinets. The reason for this is that the cyclone will be rotated 90° and will be tucked away in a cabinet itself. Currently I have a piece of flexi duct from the transition to PVC pipe which is not straight. Once rotated I can mount the PVC pipe along the wall and get all the angles correct.

There is enough dust/chip collection to get me moving forward now. Hopefully sometime after christmas I can get started on building proper cabinets and do away with the temporary pallet racking. Hoping the new hammer saw will arrive before I start this task!

Apologies again for sideways photo's. Not sure how to fix that from tapatalk.

The CV1800 mounted. I tried to get some straight pipe outta that thing, but could not get the angles to work, so some flexi is serving the purpose for now.

Sideways photo showing the DC. evnetually that pallet racking will be replaced with cupboards.

Duct outlets from the mezzanine. One is currently connected to the bandsaw, the other is for sanding machines.

Sideways photo of the Hammer 4400 connection. Surprised how well this works.

Above the mezzanie, ducting to the bandsaw and sander(s)

Above the mezzanie again, this is to the SCMS.
    20161127_214459.jpg

And my failed attempt at dust collection on the SCMS. There is lots of faults there, but this was only a prototype. The ducting was done after prototype one, hence the flex poor radius turns.

So its all far from ideal, but still very much a work in progress. Fine dust collection is no doubt bad, but its better than what was there before.

Posted with tapatalk, I will try edit on the computer now.

EDIT 1: I cant see the pics when editing, so updates will be slow!

Looking good with the ducting, it is fiddly but great when finished.
I like the led lighting, anything you would do different with the lighting?

I am actually really happy with the LED lighting. Its is 5m rolls of 5630 led strip. I initially bought this stuff after having bought some 4.5W GU10 LED lights and being totally surprised at how much light came from just a few 5630 LED's. The 4.5W led looked brighter than the 50W halogen version, but I attribute that to the 120 v 60 degree beam angle.

I have five 5m lengths under the mazzanine, and one up high in the shed roof. Its plenty bright enough, but now I know what its capable of I would like one more strip up high.

I bought this stuff off ebay and what you get is highly variable. So far the colour (temp) has been different between suppliers, and so has the light output. Everyone has been asking me about it and saying they want some so the last time I bought it I purchased 20 rolls. I hit the jackpot on this one, because its the brightest stuff I have bough to date, and its also the best colour.

That is by far the best (and probably smartest!) addition to the shed! Its been lovely working in there on the hotter days.

On a side note, I noticed how much fine dust actually exits the outlet of the Clearvue. I had the filters jammed up under the output from when I was testing everything. Today I put some timber through the drum sander and it was clearly visible how much dust escapes.

I glued everything up with silicone today, will see how it goes. I am going to make plans to have the exhaust exit outside via a damper at some point but still have the option of venting via the filters.
