It's been a slow process, but I have been given the green light by the local council to build my shed!
The design has changed a bit, the approved design is 16m x 7.5m with 3.6m gutter height.
Unfortunately, due to the slope of the block, I am going to need to cut and fill 500mm and then have a dropped edge beam on one end/side of the shed with a height of about 800mm. The detail hasn't been completely worked out by the shed company's engineer yet. But this dropped edge beam is going to add a significant cost to the concreting.
I have also ordered some machine through Felder- FB610 bandsaw, AD951 thick/jointer and Hammer HS950 edge sander. I have also been keeping my eye out for second-hand machines and have picked up a few along like a Felder k540s panel saw, Kreg router table, SAC T120 spindle moulder. The spindle moulder was bought from an online auction and it turned out to be much more heavy duty than I thought I was buying! Almost 500kg, it's a beast!
It's looking like the shed kit will be ready by the end of February and I hope to have the time to erect the kit in March.
Anyway, there should be more updates on the way as it all come together 🤞🤞

@Dan87 what final specs, shape, etc did you decide on? What roof height/shape/pitch. I'm hoping to build a similar sized shed late this year. 6-8m deep and 14-18m wide (constraints due to location, and wife approval of tree removal).

    Hi lyricnz,

    I went with 7.5m Wide x 16m Long x 3.6m gutter hight with 15° roof pitch.
Slab is down, kit has arrived and ready to go 👍 just had a baby though so may be a few weeks until anything else progresses!

So the shed slab is poured and curing under plastic! concreter did a great job, I'm very happy.
I wanted to get the slab down to let it cure for a month before I start the build, now I have a bunch of trees down with the help of an arborist mate when he can fit it in and a bunch of landscaping to do.
I am hoping to get the water tank overflow pits in the ground ready for when the shed roof is clad and water tank installed.

I went with fair dinkum shed kit. I got quotes from Ranbuild (much more expensive) and best sheds ( much cheaper) but felt like fair dinkum met my needs. Best to speak to a few suppliers to get their spiel to help make your decision.

Did you look at wide span sheds? I wonder where they would figure in your list.
