    Default Shed Insulation question

    Evening all.

Get the keys for a new property on Friday and it has a big shed (well for suburban Adelaide).
The shed has been professionally extended out one side for half the length. The roof has been re-pitched.
It is about 4m x 4m with one wall angled to 5m. The size Gutter height is around 2.1-2.2m
I have attached a photo of what the interior of this extension looks like. This is pre-sale so I am not sure what is in there when we get it.
I would like to insulate / internally clad this area as it will be my workshop.
Nothing messing in this area. I can use the other parts of the shed for that.
What is the best way to do this?
I don't really want to lift iron to add foil bubble insulation (but will if that is the best).
What about fibreglass insulation with plaster / wooded cover sheet? Can this be placed against the iron between the batons or does it need a membrane?
I looked at foil board but that gets expensive.
    Any other options or advice?

The only professional bit seems to be the concrete slab. The rest looks like a DIY to me.
The roof battens don't comply, no sarking under the roof sheets to prevent condensation, electrical cable going to grinder has no sheathing where it crosses the top of the column.
Suggest you post more photos and section size of roof battens and spans, also how are the steel C channel rafters attached to the columns AFTER you move in.

If you have ever been in Adelaide in summer, you will know why he wants it insulated

I am a few hours out of Adelaide and have recently been lining and insulating the walls of my shed. With our first dose of warm weather I measured a temp difference between the lined and unlined section of 8 degrees, so absolutely worth doing I reckon.

    cheers Andrew
